However, until that time, we ask that you arrange for proper care for your children at home. They are not allowed in the gym while you are working out.

Can I book private swimming lessons for my child? How much do they cost?

The lessons are approximately $25.00 per person per lesson. I am interested in becoming a lifeguard. What should I be doing?
If you are at least 13 years of age, and have completed Red Cross Level 10, you can enroll in Bronze Medallion. This is the first requirement in becoming a lifeguard. At 14 years of age, the Bronze Cross can be completed. We offer this course once a year in the summer, and take registration starting in March. It is possible to complete both courses at once provided the student is at least 14 years of age.
After completing the Bronze Cross and Medallion, and once you are 16 years of age, you may then register in an AEC and NLS course offered by the Lifesaving Society. Please see their website for more information (www.lifesaving.org). Those wishing to also instruct swim lessons, which is a requirement of lifeguards in many pools, must also complete an AWSI (at 15 years of age) and then WSI (at 16 years of age).
For more information, or to register in the Bronze Cross & Medallion, please call us at 780-632-6403.
