UPDATE: Full Road Closure - Pysanka Avenue

Please note, Pysanka Avenue (entrance to Pysanka Park) has reopened. 

The Town of Vegreville thanks everyone for their patience and understanding during the road closure. 


UPDATE: July 24, 2023

Please be advised, Pysanka Avenue (entrance to Pysanka Park) remains FULLY CLOSED for road repairs until further notice. 

Pysanka Park, as well as the Visitor Information Centre, remains open during this time and parking is recommended along 43 Street.

During the closure, the on-site RV Sani Dump will not be accessible. An alternative RV Sani Dump is located at Extreme Clean Truck and Car Wash at 4406 Bruce Road. The north portion of the Vegreville Municipal Campground, including the Cookhouse, will also be closed to the public.

The Town of Vegreville apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks you for your patience during the construction period.

Please be advised, effective Monday, July 10, 2023, until Friday July 14, 2023, Pysanka Avenue (entrance to Pysanka Park) will be FULLY CLOSED for road repairs.  The road will re-open for Saturday, July 15 and Sunday, July 16, 2023. 

The road will re-close on Monday, July 17 until Friday, July 21, 2023, weather depending.

Pysanka Park, as well as the Visitor Information Centre, remains open during this time and parking is recommended along 43 Street.

Campground users, as well as visitors to Pysanka Park, are reminded to cross railway tracks at DESIGNATED CROSSINGS only. Failure to do so may result in a $500 fine from CN Rail. Additionally, at no point is it permissible to cross through the construction area to access washrooms, showers, and the Visitor Information Centre from the south portion of the Vegreville Municipal Campground.
