The Town of Vegreville's Annual Recycling Roundup is back for its 15th year!
This will be your chance to ensure Electronics, Paints, Tires, Used Oil (20L Max), and Household Hazardous Waste that may just be collecting dust in your basements, garages, and sheds are safely disposed of.

Location: Central Recycling Drop Off Centre at 4822 - 51 Avenue, Vegreville, AB (behind Dairy Queen)
Come out and bring your leftover paint, empty paint cans and spray paint cans, computer equipment, TV's, tires, and oil!

Did you know that last year the event collected 9,124 kilograms of household hazardous waste, electronics, paint, batteries, and tires?
The breakdown of the waste collected is as follows:
- 2,278 kg of paint and spray paint aerosols (accepted by Clean Harbors)
- 1,390 kg of household hazardous wastes - toxics, flammables, corrosives (solids/liquids/ aerosols)
- 1,285 kg program material electronic waste (accepted by Quantum Lifecycle Partners)
- 1,039 kg of pilot electronics
- 703 kg’s single-use/rechargeable batteries, cell phones, and automotive batteries
- 776 kg oil and oil filters
- 100 kg automotive and chemical containers
- 477 kg tires
- 467 kg fluorescent bulbs, incandescent bulbs, inks, and toners
- 609 kg propane tanks, metals, glass, and fire extinguishers
