Town of Vegreville Facilities Affected by Provincially Enhanced COVID-19 Measures
Vegreville, AB (April 7th, 2021) – On April 6th, 2021, the Government of Alberta announced it would be returning to Step 1 of its Path Forward COVID-19 Public Health Plan effective April 6th at 11:59 pm.
The newly imposed restrictions have impacted the following Town of Vegreville facilities:
- The Vegreville Aquatic Centre is now closed except for one-on-one or household cohort youth swimming lessons. For lesson bookings or for more information, call the Aquatic Centre at (780) 632-6403.
- The Fitness Centre/Cardio Room located in the Vegreville Aquatic Centre is now closed.
- The Vegreville Centennial Library is now closed. Curbside service remains available. For more information on arranging curbside service, call the Library at (780) 632-3491.
Further provincial public health measures pertaining to indoor restaurant dining, retail shopping and more have been, or soon will be, imposed. For more information on those measures, visit alberta.ca.
The Town of Vegreville reminds all residents and visitors that the provincial mandatory masking requirements remain in effect and strongly encourages everyone to adhere to all public health measures.
