Wally Fedun Arena

General Guidelines

Physical distance from others

  • Stay 2 meters apart from others outside your household or cohort group.
  • Follow all physical distancing markers including floor markers and signage.

Wash your hands

  • Wash or sanitize your hands frequently.

Stay home if you are ill or have recently travelled

  • Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19, anyone who has travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days, or anyone who has been in close contact with a person with COVID-19 (probable or confirmed) without PPE will not be permitted to enter the Arena.

Limit gathering and lingering

  • A maximum of 100 people OR 25% of maximum seating. Spectators will not have access to the facility until the scheduled booking time.
  • All participants and coaches may only enter the respective facility 15 minutes before their booking and must exit the facility 15 minutes after their booking.

Masks are encouraged 

  • Masks are strongly recommended for everyone in all dry areas (lobby, change rooms).

Arena Schedule

The Wally Fedun Arena has undergone many renovations in recent years to ensure it’s of the highest quality for our local clubs and visitors and is home to Vegreville & District Minor Hockey Association, Vegreville Skating Club lessons, Vegreville Jr. B Rangers. 


Public Shinny times will be posted when the arena re-opens in the fall of 2021.

We offer skate sharpening for $5/pair during the winter season. If you’re wanting to get your skates sharpened, please drop them off with at least one day's notice to the Aquatic & Fitness Centre front desk.
