Snow removal is an important priority for the Town. Our Public Works department endeavors to keep our roads safe by removing snow and sanding as required.
We all play a role in snow removal in Vegreville. To ensure safe, effective, and complete removal of snow, residents are asked to avoid parking on roads designated for snow removal.

Removal in order of priority
- Main arteries and emergency routes
- School zones, assisted living complexes, and seniors complexes
- Residential areas, alternating daily between the north-side to the south-side of the Town
- Vegreville Airport, as time and resources permit; and
- Back alleys are cleared when equipment and operators are available

To ensure safe, effective, and complete removal of snow, residents are asked to avoid parking on roads designated for snow removal.
Due to the fluctuating weather, the Public Works Department will be out clearing snow in areas to alleviate rutting and assist with the spring melt.
