Seal Coating to Result in Road Closures

Update (July 28): Please note, due to the extreme warm weather, seal coating applied to the below listed roads has failed to properly cure.
As a result, the following roads will remain closed until cooler temperatures allow for drying.
1. Landfill Road (East on 61 Avenue)
2. 55 Avenue West of 75 Street (Bulk Water Station Road) to Highway 16
3. Service Road on the Secondary Highway 857 South (Bruce Road Service Road)
4. 41 Avenue from Secondary Highway 857 South (Bruce Road) to 48A Street
5. 53 Street from 45 Avenue South (St. Mary’s Highschool Access Road)
6. 50 Street north of 61 Avenue
7. 53 Avenue from 49 Street to 47 Street (Centex Road)

Please be advised, the Town of Vegreville's Public Works Department will be applying seal coat to the cold mix roads on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, weather permitting.
The roads listed below will be barricaded and closed effective 8:00 AM until approximately 5:00 PM.
Please make alternative arrangements, as travel on these roads is prohibited until the seal coat is dry. Seal coat is an oil-based product that can take several hours to dry depending on weather conditions. Please obey all posted traffic signage.
