About the Town of Vegreville's 2024 Colour Run:

  • The Colour Run is roughly 3 kilometers long, traversing mainly through Vegreville's walking trails. In cases where the route crosses over a public roadway, it is the participant's responsibility to do so safely and to abide by all traffic laws.

  • There is no charge to take part in this run but all participants must complete the online pre-registration form below by end of day, June 24, 2024. Please Note: Day-Of Registration will not be available for the Colour Run.

  • Colour Run Participants must check in and pick up their Runner's Package at the Runner's Check-In Table on the day of the event.

  • The Runner's Check-In Table will open at 4:30 PM on Monday, July 1st. The run will begin at 6:00 PM sharp.

  • The Colour Run is limited to the first 300 registrants. All eligible registrants will receive free race merchandise in their Runner's Package. (Note: Runners Packages will only be given to eligible pre-registrants who visit the Runner's Check-In Table prior to the run. Multiples will not be handed out.)

  • The bib you receive in your Runner's Package must be worn to receive a medal at the race finishing line

  • At various stages of this run, volunteers release coloured powder into the air as runners pass through. This corn starch-based powder is non-toxic and easily dissolves in water. With that in mind, runners are reminded to avoid breathing in the powder. While a small amount is ok, repeat and prolonged inhalation can cause minor irritation.
