Mayor Tim MacPhee

Mayor Tim MacPhee was elected to Vegreville Council in 2013 and became Mayor in 2017. During his time as Mayor, his continued goal has been to ensure the enrichment of Vegreville and to assist in its economic growth.

Tim was born and raised in Nova Scotia and moved to Vegreville in 1979 where he decided to lay down roots for his family. While raising his family and operating a small business he started to become an active volunteer in the community, which enlightened his passion for the Town and led to him running for Vegreville Council.

Tim received his journeymen-ship in glass glazing in 1989 and opened a glass business in Vegreville shortly after. He has been a small business owner and strong advocate for small businesses in Vegreville ever since.

Over the years Tim has volunteered for the Kinsmen of Vegreville, Vegreville Minor Hockey Association, and many of the other community-oriented organizations our community has to offer. He has always believed by investing his time and care into the community that he is helping to ensure Vegreville is a safe, strong, and vibrant Town.
