Notice of Bulk Water Station System Upgrade

Please be advised that the Bulk Water Station transitioned to a new payment system.

The new payment system is designed to be convenient for users through cashless payment options. The upgrade consists of 2 options; these payment options are subject to change and become more streamlined as the system installation is completed. All future changes will be communicated through the Town of Vegreville website.

Payment options:

Fob Users: Customers will pre-load the fob account through the online payment portal. Once payment is made, Fob’s can be picked up at the Public Works Department. This method is ideal for all commercial users regularly using the Bulk Water Station.
Point-of-Sale Terminal (Tap & Pay): Customers will pre-pay using debit or credit card at the Bulk Water Station prior to use. No account or Fob is required. This method is ideal for one-time or irregular users of the bulk water station.

Important: All outstanding balances on your bulk water account must be paid in full before an account under the new system can be activated.

TAP & PAY at Fill Station

1. Set up your hose.

2. Scan the QR code or tap your card (please only TAP once for payment).

3. Water will begin filling almost immediately.

4. PRESS STOP on the screen when you are finished.

5. A digital receipt can be obtained by scanning the QR code on the screen after you PRESS STOP.

Note: There is a delay once the system is deactivated. The remaining water in the hose will still flow once deactivated. Please take this into account when filling to capacity.

The Vegreville Bulk Water station is located off Highway 16A on 75 Street.
