Social Centre

The Social Centre is a versatile and elegant venue designed to host events of all sizes. With seating for up to 700 guests, the space can also be divided into two separate halls, making it ideal for both grand celebrations and more intimate gatherings.

Perfect for weddings, banquets, graduations, and formal events, the Social Centre features a large, fully equipped kitchen and bar, allowing for seamless catering and service for large groups. A spacious front foyer provides a welcoming area for guest arrivals, receptions, and mingling, along with quieter spaces for conversation.

Daily Rate*: $920 (+GST)

Weekend Rate* (Friday @7:00 PM - Sunday @4:00 PM): $1,725 (+GST)

Stage Use Only: $46/Hour (+GST)

All Rentals Require Security Deposit: $575 (+GST)

DISCOUNTED RATES:

Non-Profit Organizations: All days 15% off Hall Charge. Non-profits must have an approved motion by their governing body stating their intentions and subsequently present a signed letter on official letterhead to the Parks, Recreation, & Facilities Department at the time of booking in order to qualify for the discount.

*Please Note: All users of the Vegreville Social Centre must carry General Liability Insurance for their event. General Liability Insurance (Party Alcohol Liability) can be purchased through an insurance broker. The Town of Vegreville must receive a copy of the Insurance Certificate at least three weeks prior to the event.

**Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of booking results in the forfeiture of deposit. Bookings will be taken only up to two (2) years in advance.

***Additional SOCAN Fees: A 'Society of Composer, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada [SOCAN]' Tariff may be applied to your facility rental fee. Rates are determined by SOCAN and vary depending on your event. Please talk with your Parks, Recreation & Facilities Department Booking Representative or refer to the Facility Rental Agreement for more information.
