The Town of Vegreville’s Annual Municipal Recycling Beyond the Bin Roundup!
The annual Recycling Round-Up in Vegreville is a highly anticipated event that takes place every June at the Central Recycling Drop-Off Centre, providing an excellent opportunity for residents to responsibly dispose of various household hazardous items. Have old electronics, unused paints, worn-out tires, or used oil sitting around? This event is your chance to clear out the clutter and ensure these potentially harmful materials are safely disposed of. The Recycling Roundup offers a convenient and eco-friendly solution for residents to rid their homes of these unwanted items. By participating in this event, you'll contribute to a cleaner and safer environment for everyone in the community.
The Beyond-the-Bin Recycling Round-Up took place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Central Recycling Drop-Off Centre located at 4822 – 51 Avenue (behind Dairy Queen).
This event is your chance to ensure Electronics, Paints, Tires, Used Oil (20L Max), and Household Hazardous Waste that may just be collecting dust in your basements, garages and sheds are safely disposed of. Come out and bring your leftover paint, empty paint cans and spray paint cans, computer equipment, TV’s, tires and oil! Call 780-632-3197 for more information.
This event is sponsored by Alberta Recycling Management Authority.
