Half-Masting Notice: National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism

The Town of Vegreville will lower all municipal flags to half-mast on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, in observance of the National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism.

This day provides an opportunity to remember and honour those who have lost their lives or been injured as a result of acts of terrorism in Canada and around the world. It is also a time to stand in solidarity with survivors, families, and communities affected by these tragedies.

We encourage residents to take a moment to reflect and recognize the importance of compassion, unity, and resilience in the face of violence.
