Half Masting Notice - National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women
National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women
December 6 is The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women — a day to honour and remember those who have experienced gender-based violence and those we have tragically lost to it. It is also a time to take meaningful action.
Achieving a Canada free from gender-based violence requires collective effort. We encourage everyone to learn about gender-based violence, engage in conversations with family and community, centre the voices of survivors, and speak out against harmful behaviours.
