Road Resurfacing Closures

Notice to Town of Vegreville Residents - Road Resurfacing Closures

Please be advised that, starting at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026, the following roads will be closed for resurfacing, weather permitting:

• 55 Avenue from 50 Street to 47 Street
• 49 Street from 55 Avenue to 60 Avenue
• 49A Street from 61 Avenue to the cul-de-sac

The affected roads will be fully closed during resurfacing. Please remove any vehicles from driveways or garages that you may need to use during this time and plan an alternate route until the work is complete. A sand coating will be applied as part of the resurfacing process to help prevent oil from tracking onto vehicle tires. The sand will be removed once the product has cured, which is expected to take approximately three days.
