Mayor MacPhee Receives the First Poppy of the 2026 Campaign

On Friday, October 16, Mayor MacPhee received the first poppy of the 2026 Poppy Campaign from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 39.

The annual Poppy Campaign honours the service and sacrifices of Canada’s veterans and helps ensure we never forget those who served.

The local Legion branch president and executive members routinely visit town hall to present the first local poppy to the mayor.
