Weather Alert: High Wind Warnings
Environment Canada has issued a Wind Warning for much of northeastern Alberta, including Vegreville and the surrounding area.
Strong winds with gusts up to 90 km/h are expected tonight, with conditions improving by tomorrow morning.
Reduced visibility due to snow and blowing snow is possible, and utility outages may occur.

Severe winter weather also serves as a reminder to ensure your household is prepared in case of emergency. Residents are encouraged to have an emergency kit on hand so they can be self-sufficient for at least 72 hours.
