Sports Programs
Guidelines:
- Adult programs are open for ages 18+ and all skill levels
- All drop-in Programs require an Adult Waiver, please stop by the Front Desk of the Aquatic & Fitness Centre to fill one out.
- All Youth Programs require a waiver to be completed before participating.
- Register or fill out a waiver at the front desk of the Recreation Centre or call 780-632-6403.
- Payment must be made at time of registration.
- No Punch Passes are available for youth programs.
- Drop-In fees must be paid upon arrival and are cash only.

Atomic Volleyball - partnered with Volleyball Alberta

Description: Atomic 1 (8-10 years) Beginners, No Prior Experience GO Sport Atomic program follow the curriculum set out in Volleyball Canada’s Atomic Volleyball Program. Atomic Volleyball is an 8-week program with adapted rules for youth ages 8-10 years. Each session is 1.5 hours with every session being a combination of skills/technique practice and modified games play. Atomic Volleyball is part of the Long-Term Athlete Development Model Stage 2 “Learning to Train” that stresses FUN, FAIRPLAY, and PARTICIPATION by increasing the number of ball contacts.

Home School Physical Literacy Program
To become physically literate, children need to master fundamental movement skills and progress through their fundamental sport skills! Participation in this program will help children learn and develop new skills, and become confident in their fundamentals. Join us for various games and drills that will provide children with the opportunity to learn by doing!

Description: Help your child build confidence and a lifelong love of movement!
In this program, children will learn and strengthen the fundamental movement skills they need to become physically literate - skills like running, jumping, throwing, catching, balancing, and more. They’ll then have the chance to apply these abilities through fun sport-based games and drills designed for all skill levels.
Our sessions focus on learning through active play, giving children the space to try new skills, build coordination, and grow their confidence in a supportive environment.
