Fitness Classes

Guidelines:

  • Payment must be made at time of registration
  • Registration can be done at the front desk of the Recreation Centre or call 780-632-6403 
  • Classes have a drop-in rate of $7.00
  • There are now 10-punch passes for fitness classes (can be used for any class) for $60.00
  • Course ID is required for registration 

*All Fitness Classes require payment, Par-Q+ and Waiver signed when participating. Par-Q+ records are required to be updated annually.* 

Registration is due the first day of programming. Missed the registration periods? The Fitness Class 'Drop-in' Rate is $7 or purchase a 10 Punch Fitness Pass for $60!

Program: Lunch Crunch (Session 2)

Description: Lunch Crunch is a condensed boot camp style class. Utilizing Tabata, HIIT and circuit training to increase and endurance. All on your lunch break! *No class Oct. 13

Fees: $120 for 24 classes

Description: Zumba is a dance-based fitness technique that combines elements of salsa, samba, merengue, reggaeton, and hip-hop with cardio exercise moves. It is a high-energy and fast-paced workout that targets cardiovascular fitness, strength, and flexibility. 

Fees: $40 for 8 classes


Program: Body Sculpt (Session 2)

Location: Vegreville Rec Centre, Upstairs Dance Studio

Date/Time: January 6 - February 24, Tuesday's, 4:30 - 5:30 pm

Description: Body Sculpt is strength training that focuses on all major muscle groups with an emphasis on toning and sculpting. This class will challenge and keep you looking your best year round! 

Fees: $40 for 8 classes


Fitness Orientations

Occasional Fitness Orientations are held by the Recreation department. These orientations allow new gym equipment users to be confident, capable, and safe while working out. Please watch for Youth and Adult Fitness Orientations that are being held or reach out to our staff at the Aquatic and Fitness Centre for more information at 780-632-6403.

What is Essentrics®?

Essentrics is a low-impact, full-body workout that blends ballet, tai chi, and physiotherapy to build strength, flexibility, and mobility through continuous, flowing movements. Designed for all ages and fitness levels, it focuses on lengthening muscles, improving posture, and releasing tension without using static poses.
