The BASE and Kalyna Family Resource Network Relocate to New Community Hub

Kalyna Family Resource Network and The BASE have relocated to a new Community Hub at the Galleria Mall in Vegreville.

The move was supported by several local businesses, organizations, volunteers, youth, and Town staff. Vantage Builders incorporated assistance with the move into a staff community-building activity, while additional support was provided by the Town of Vegreville Facilities team, Vegreville Food Bank, Webb’s Machinery, local volunteers, youth, and other community partners.

The new location will allow The BASE to continue providing programs, activities, services, and supports for youth ages 12–18 and young adults ages 18–24.

Residents are invited to attend an upcoming Open House to tour the new space, meet the team, and learn more about the programs and services available.

A free taco bar will also be available during the Open House.
